Power of Life Success Services, LLC (PLSS) helps clients identify their life purpose and establish their own unique, healthy, and empowering lifestyles through which they realize the results they desire and manifest their life purpose.

PLSS needed a website to help give their customers information about the services they offer. Phase 1 was to design a unique site to help get that information across. Phase 2 is to develop a blog and eNewsletter to help keep clients informed of new information to help them mind, body and soul. And Phase 3 is to create an online shopping area where clients can purchase products that can also help meet their goals.

Jason had a one page site to show off his cleaning service. But, as with what happens to many website owners, he wanted to be able to make changes to his site without having to constantly go back to his designer. I outfitted Quality First Cleaning’s design with a WordPress back end so that he could add more pages and change current content. Then I installed and created a few plugins to help him make changes to static content on the home page and in the header and footer. Now Jason is set to make as many changes as his heart desires.

So who do I recommend to clean my house? Like my children, I’ll never name a favorite — but which ever you choose I assure you they’ll do a great job!

Picture Perfect Cleaning LLC is a small family owned cleaning service. They specialize in making your living and working spaces sparkle. Don’t let their small size fool you, they can handle any size job. They even do windows.

I loved this project. Creating the bubble graphic helped revive my snoosing Photoshop skills.

Miss Lori has become a household name for us. My daughter adores her. All of Miss Lori’s students adore her. She has exactly what it takes to turn your little girl into a beautiful ballerina. She works with ages 1-6 with ballet, tap and jazz. I am very excited to have her as a new client.

Phase 1 Design: She wanted a site that was pink and polka dot and girly. She wanted something that matched her store front but wasn’t too different from the stationary she had designed for her brochures.

Phase 2: Using the next version of myBTMContent. Her site houses static pages about her programs and a news blog.

Phase 3 Registration system: The Registration system we’ll develop will contain information about each class, who’s teaching it and when it will be held. From class view or calendar view, students will be able to see which classes are still available and register online using Paypal.

Phase 4 Newsletters: Keeping in contact with students is very important, so the newsletter system will allow Miss Lori to keep in contact with her students parents about important events happening at Baby Ballerina.

The next big thing in Voice Over talent, Arlyne needed a site to show off her stuff. She wanted something clean and elegant. So I developed this design for her which we are using with Wordpress.

Sleepy Hollow is a home owners association. They wanted to make it easier for Members and Board members to share information. Their project consisted of 3 parts. The main part of the website uses Wordpress with a pre-built template. With some adjustments, hacks and plugins they got exactly what the wanted.

The next two parts of their site are geared for board members only. The first is a file sharing system. Administrators will be able to edit/replace documents on the server while regular users will view PDF versions of those document. They needed a system which would allow them to upload PDF with the documents or request a PDF be made for them. The other part was to house their Association database. They wanted to be able to run reports on the database and export the reports to Excel.

Their users system needed to be able to handle different permission levels for each application. So I needed to hack into the Wordpress users panel and develop my own users system.

Working on this project not only gave me a lot of ideas on how my own applications should work together in a modular system, but it gave me thoughts on how to write more things that interface with Wordpress, not as plugins, but as full fledged applications.

What self respecting web design momma would not have a site for her little bundles of joy. Especially when those bundles live across to country from their MeMe & Poppy.

The site was inspired from my daughters block set. Actually, the main photo was taken for a collection on Flickr. The goal was to take pictures in numerical order. I was going after #138, but I was seconds to slow. Anyway, I loved the photo and it sparked the concept for their design.

The blog itself runs on Wordpress and shares a database with my own site DP.

After a long and needed maternity leave, it was time to get back. And what better way to get back to work than by designing a site for another Doula. Again running myBTMContent, Tammi’s design was inspired by the curves of her logo. She was looking for something that would stand out from other doula websites — which meant no lavendar. Natural Beginnings is also running version 2 of myBTMGallery.
